HNC Admin & IT

I've been doing HNC for the past year from 2019 to 2020 

I've been doing a wide range of different class most of them in witch I enjoy and a couple in witch I'm not so keen on. 

Here is a list of the class and what you do within them. 

Business Communication 

In this class you are learning about how you should communicate within a business. You have to do a meeting and repeare meeting documnets such as an agender, minuetes and notice. 

Web Design 

We got to learn how to make up a website and how business use and deal with websites. You have to make a report about the layout ofthree websites and about html and   

Visual Communication

You get to learn about the different social media channels and how to manage them within your business. You get to learn how to make blogs and write about socil media and the tools they have.

Office Admin

 

You have to write reports about legislation, customer care, and working practices within a business using a case study. You also have to produce and create meeting documents.  

Digital Technologies

You get to explore the different types of technology apps business can uses and you get too work in part of a team and individually. Using apps such as Teams, Planner, and Padlet

Sage

We got to learn about book keeping skills and how to mange business accounts. 

Payroll

Within payroll you get to learn how to deal with payroll accounts manually and on sage account software package. In payroll i have to manually work out different calculations such as gross pay, tax, national insurance, net pay, payroll summary and payslips and had to show evidence of this.

Database

Within Database you get to make up diffrent databases and make forms, queries, records, and calculations. This is where you store loads of data and make losts of tables to store the information in. 

Excel

You get to learn how to make spreadsheets and do different functions within the spreadsheets for example: Add, Subtract, If, Count, Conditional formatting, Absolut, and Charts. 

Word & PowerPoint

In word you learn how to make letters, labels, meeting documents, tables and much more. The things that business would have to make in word.
